Our Story

The Origin

BET ON THE HORSES, founded by Collin McMannis in 2026, is a design venture born out of Los Angeles, operating out of the western states of the US, balancing vintage techniques with streetwear elements, showcased as ready-to-wear collections. B.O.T.H. is the elevated version of McMannis' first design project LL - It comes with an elevated style of design and quality aspect

Designed from a narrative standpoint B.O.T.H. is both a reflection of modern and past society styles and personal stories as McMannis' ventured into his design era. Now a reoccurring theme season-to-season, B.O.T.H. combines American iconography with nostalgic references, a visual commentary on West Coast style and culture itself.

With no formal training specific to fashion design, McMannis' credits his understanding of garments and construction to growing up with a mother who had an eye for fashion, providing a foundation and understanding of how to style each piece and how to bring together outfits from nothing.

The Story

Everyone tells you to play it safe. Get the job. Take the salary. Stay in your lane. The house always wins, they say, so don't bet at all.

Bet On The Horses is for the people who never bought that.

The name isn't about horses. It's about the wager. Every person who's ever walked away from the safe thing to chase something of their own made a bet on themselves, against the odds, against the advice of everyone who never took the risk. Most people fold. You don't.

What We Stand For

We pull from the golden era of American style the 80s, 90s, and 2000s back when clothing had swagger and a point of view. Vintage Americana, reimagined for people who don't fit the mold. This isn't cosplay cowboy. There's no ranch, no rodeo, no costume. It's the spirit of the frontier self-reliance, nerve, doing it your own way stripped of the cliché and dropped into now. There is no such thing as perfection, it does not exist. Consistency and your ability to show up when yourself needs you the most. Time is NOT returnable

The bronco is autonomy made physical. It's not aggressive for its own sake it's not attacking anyone. It just REFUSES TO BE OWNED. That's the exact emotional core we are building around: the person who won't be saddled down, won't submit to someone else's schedule, won't be broken into the safe life. The bronco doesn't hate the ranch. It just belongs to itself. We are the counter culture to the cowboy, The cowboy is the controlling force, the bronco is what can’t be controlled. He was about freedom, risk, and answering to no one. Its not a cowboy we are, it’s the wild bronco.

Who It's For

The calculated risk-takers. The ones breaking out of the matrix of society, breaking from where the group leads.  The founders, the creators, the people who'd rather bet on a long shot they believe in than take a sure thing they don't. You've done the math. You know the odds. You're placing the bet anyway, not recklessly, but deliberately. Dangerously, but calculated.
